Reply by andreaborman on February 28, 2011 It is not true that a Netbook cannot run Windows 7 Home premium.I have 3 Netbooks and they have all been upgraded,1 has Windows 7 Ultimate,the other Windows 7 Professonial and the 3rd has Windows 7 Home Premium. And they all run excellent without any problems and I enjoy the full features that Windows 7 has to offer. Netbooks can run higher editions of Windows 7. It is just that Windows 7 is new and that makers of Netbooks are too mean to install a higher version of Windows 7 on them.

Because they want to keep costs low and even full sized laptops only get Windows 7 Home Premium if they are lucky, nothing more.Unless you upgrade.
