As I mentioned here before, I am expecting the arrival next week of a lovely shiny new blackBook. Program similar to paint for mac. I have it installed on my bigMac (24' iMac), but the disks I have are 'upgrade' disks. I'm wondering what I have to do to install it - presumably the upgrade disks only work if a previous version is already there, and I don't really want to spend the evening installing a whole history of Photoshop upgrades. If I drag over the App files from the bigMac, probably there will be stuff I miss. Alternatively, maybe I can just use the Migration Assistant.

Hi Larry, I just made the PC to Mac switch myself including exchanging copies of PSCS2. I keep all my actions in one folder on a separate HD. Loading them is the same as you would do on your Windows system.

In PSCS2, go to the the actions pallete, and click on the triangle to bring the menu to load actions. Then just navigate to the action you want to load. For presets and plugins.go to to your Applications folder. In that folder, there is a PSCS2 folder. Click on that and you'll see where to install.

For example, Presets is Applications> Adobe Photoshop CS2> Presets And Plug-ins would be Applications> Adobe Photoshop CS2> Plug-Ins In most cases, it's simply a matter of dragging and dropping into the appropriate folder.
